Hello Fellow PHPMagic Users,

I submitted the following request to Website Databases support group. I thought I should provide a copy of my support request for Forum Users to review, ...in hopes that someone may be able to help me.

Hello Website Databases Support,

I just purchased your software bundle including PHPMagic,

MyContactTable, PHPFormMagic, and AcessMagic.

Currently I am practicing with PHPMagic, reading the users

Forum, and learning how to create MySQL website databases.

So far, so good, ...except I need more specific information

concerning 'Understanding Relationships', and specifically

what the property settings (drop down menus) do in the 'Look

Up Field' tab. I need some examples with specific

discussion on the details of how to set these properties

(when using multiple tables in a database), and how I may

best test out their functions so that I understand how to

proceed.

I have reviewed your brief example in the PHPMagic On Line

Help section on 'Understanding Relationships', ..but I am

still unclear on how this works with your system.

Can you please provide me with a more detailed explanation

or a manual that covers this topic in detail with examples?

Also, as I am an experienced computer user, ... a brief

telephone conversation with you will most likely be a good

way to quickly get answers to these questions.

Can you provide me with a telephone number so that we may

discuss?

Hello

I would recommend downloading the manual from the product page (http://www.websitedatabases.com/phpmagic-overview.html). It is a little dated but will outline answers to your questions. The help file within the software is a good place to begin as well. Finally if you download some of our free sample file templates you can see how foreign keys work. :)
